1️⃣ Check for Typing Mistakes
Your product key must be 25 characters:
XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX
✔ Make sure:
- No extra spaces
- No confusion between 0 and O
- No confusion between B and 8
2️⃣ Use the Official Redemption Page
Go to:
👉 https://www.office.com/setup
Sign in with your Microsoft account and enter the key there.
Sometimes activation fails inside the app but works on the website.
3️⃣ Check If Key Is Already Used
If you see:
“This product key has already been used”
Then:
- Sign in with the Microsoft account originally used.
- Go to Services & Subscriptions to check if Office is already linked.
